Flame of Savannah

Willful, red-haired Melinda Bullock flouts time-honored rules and shocks the old aristocracy by welcoming the attentions of Lords Geoffrey Randolph, an English nobleman with a scandalous agenda.

Melinda Denise Bullock, like her beloved hometown of Savannah, Georgia, was sultry, seductive and a fabulous feast for the eyes. With one bold act she fixed her destiny of danger and desire in which she embraced her heart’s greatest dream only to have it torn away. After flying to the dazzling crest of rapture, Melinda was flung to the pit of despair but fought like a tigress and pitched her will against the winds of fortune and men’s greed. Her reward was to claim a love that blazed as bright as the golden sun of the Southland.

Author’s Note: I set my second romance in a town I visited often in the ’70s and ’80s when it was still one of the South’s best kept secrets. It was much more fun, mysterious and eccentric before John Berendt’s bestseller brought in the crowds but happily retains much of its old world charm.
